Media

A major part of the Public Lands History Center team’s work is digital history. We want to collect digital and visual representations of Scotts Bluff history to give our readers and stakeholders a unique understanding of the importance of the monument.

Photos: Visit our growing photograph galleries here. These include photos taken by our researchers during site visits, as well as historic photographs of Scotts Bluff.

Maps: Maps are an important way to orient ourselves to a place. Check out maps related to Scotts Bluff here.

HistoryPin: Want to know where a photograph was taken? HistoryPin is a unique program that enables you to connect photographs with a geographical location via Google maps. Check out our project’s HistoryPin here.

We are constantly developing new ways of visually representing the history of Scotts Bluff, so check back soon for more media!
