HistoryPin is an interactive website that allows users to “pin” photos, both recent and historic, and information about them to a specific geographical location using a Google map interface. This creates a feeling of actually being at a place by viewing photographs of places all over the world. When users pin historical photographs to Google street view, people can see what a landscape or building looked like long ago.
